Final Senate Infrastructure Bill Retains G-Fee Extension
The infrastructure bill passed today by the Senate retains the extension of the 10bp GSE g-fee increase set to expire at the end of this fiscal year. As noted when the idea was first floated, the extension means the extra 10bps continue through 2032, providing $21 billion in infrastructure funding.
