As anticipated, Sen. Warren has introduced a slightly-revised version of legislation taken up at the end of the last Congress by House Black Caucus Members who have joined her again this year along with some high-profile freshmen.  Interestingly, Sen. Gillibrand is also a cosponsor despite the rivalry with Warren for the Democratic presidential nomination.  The bill will of course face stiff odds, especially in the Senate, but its proposals will end up one way or the other in the Democratic 2020 platform, with a couple of items even adopted before then if housing-finance reform advances.
