FHFA has weighed into the eminent-domain question, unsurprisingly on the side of those who vociferously oppose it. Although phrased as a neutral request for “input,” FHFA’s questions would build a strong record for “actions” FHFA could take to prevent any municipalities from asserting their eminent domain powers.
