Here, we assess the Congressional comments on the QRM regulators have released to date. In summary, they don’t like it much. No surprises here, given the hundreds of signatures filed to protest the NPR while it was out for comment. We continue to expect that the NPR will go back to the drawing board before a final rule is issued.
