No, not really. In this report, we review our initial post-election GSE-reform forecast. We affirm our initial view that recap-and-release is unrealistic as well as politically unlikely. We revise our forecast that GSE reform would be a second-order issue given Mr. Mnuchin’s focus on it in his comments yesterday and the political line-up on the Hill resulting from his nomination.
