Going the Limit
We have completed our in-depth assessment of new large-credit exposure rules finalized by the Basel Committee. These lay the groundwork for the potential U.S. single-counterparty credit limit (SCCL) standards first proposed by the FRB in 2012. In this report, we assess the agency-market impact of the new global rules, as well as the precedent they set for the U.S. and the broader impact this will have on mortgage finance.
